Ashtanga, Pregnancy & Beyond

Astanga yoga - Ashtanga - Copenhagen - København - Mysore Yoga CPH - Wambui NjugunaThe focus of this session with Wambui Njuguna on Saturday May 9 12.30-14.30 will center around how to approach the practice of Ashtanga yoga during pregnancy. We will go over modifications for the primary series of Ashtanga yoga, as well as discuss how to practice while trying to conceive and how to get back to the practice postpartum.

Mothers, mothers-to-be, those wishing to become mothers, fathers and significant others are all welcome to attend! In 2012, while five months pregnant with baby Sesam, Wambui taught at MYC, and experienced firsthand, how to combine pregnancy with the practice and teaching of yoga.
