Breath, Pranayama & Beyond

Pranayama - Mysore Yoga CPH - Ashtanga Yoga - Frederiksberg - Copenhagen - København“The Ashtanga Yoga practice is a breathing practice, the rest is just bending” – Sri K Pattabhi Jois.

Breath is the most vital process in the entire body and at the very heart of the Ashtanga yoga practice. This workshop on September 12 at 9-11 will help us to better understand our breath. We will build up the breathing technique and practice simple breath work and fundamental pranayamas to deepen our control of the breath. You will learn a basic pranayama sequence, that can open the door to new possibilities within the practice of Ashtanga yoga, and guide towards the state of meditation.
