Workshop on Gravity within Astanga Yoga CANCELED due to CORONA VIRUS

Johanna Chemnitz will guide us April 26th at 12 – 14

Bringing focus into the exploration and sensation of gravity within Astanga Yoga

Johanna is an advanced practitioner and highly experienced teacher of Astanga Yoga for a couple of decades.

Starting with a light guided meditation and the Sun Salutations, we’ll explore the sensation and use of gravity within different postures of the Astanga practice. In this, we’ll practice shifting our weight from our feet to our hands and back. Jumping on and off the floor, and also explore how gravity can be our helpful partner when searching for more release in our movement when entering and exiting postures.
